Your quick guide setup to warranty. Frameo sharing is easy, secure, and subscription-free.
Getting started & setup
What app do I need, and where do I download it?
Use the free Frameo app on iOS or Android to send photos/videos to your OTJ Frame.
How do I set up the frame the first time?
Plug in the frame → connect to Wi-Fi in Settings → open the Frameo app → pair using the on-screen QR/friend code. Typical setup takes about a minute.
The frame can’t find my Wi-Fi. What should I check?
Most frames running Frameo use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and don’t support WPA3 or hidden SSIDs. Enable a 2.4 GHz network and WPA2/WPA2-WPA3 mixed mode, then try again.
Can I set up and preload photos before gifting?
Yes—set it up at your place, load photos, then gift it; the content and settings stay on the frame. The recipient can connect to their own Wi-Fi later (or use it offline)
Do I need Wi-Fi all the time?
No. The frame plays stored photos offline. Wi-Fi is only needed to receive new photos and for updates.
Can I connect multiple phones to one frame?
Yes. Share the frame’s friend code from the frame (or from an approved admin’s app) and each person can connect. Codes expire after 12 hours for security.
Sharing, senders & privacy
Who can send photos to my frame?
Only people you approve with the frame’s friend code. You can also designate a trusted sender as an “administrator” to share codes on your behalf.
How do I remove someone who’s sending to my frame?
On the frame, go to Settings → My friends → select the person → Delete friend (removes their send permission; you can also remove their past photos).
Is my content private?
Frameo uses end-to-end encryption between the app and frame; photos are stored on the frame, not mined for ads.
Do I need a subscription?
No—core sharing is free. Optional Frameo+ adds extras like longer video sends, remote photo management, and cloud backup.
Can I send videos and captions?
Yes—send short clips and add captions in the app; Frameo+ increases the video limit (e.g., up to 2 minutes).
What if the friend code doesn’t work?
Codes last 12 hours. Ask the frame owner for a fresh code, then try again.
Photos, videos & storage
How much storage does OTJ Frame have?
OTJ Frame includes 32 GB of built-in storage for thousands of photos (actual capacity depends on file sizes and videos).
Which photo/video formats are supported?
Photos: JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP. Videos: MP4/3GP. For best results, keep video specs within Frameo’s limits.
Does the frame auto-rotate?
Yes—OTJ01 supports auto-rotation for landscape/portrait slideshows. (If orientation looks off, adjust Fit/Fill in the frame’s menu.)
Any tips to maximize storage?
Resize photos near the frame’s display resolution before importing; this speeds transfers and conserves space.
Can I manage the frame remotely?
With the owner’s permission, Frameo+ lets you view and manage frame photos from your phone.
