Setup & Wi-Fi
My frame won’t connect to Wi-Fi
- Make sure you’re connecting to a 2.4GHz or 5GHz network (the OTJ Frame supports both)
- Double-check your Wi-Fi password — passwords are case-sensitive
- Move the frame closer to your router during setup, then reposition it once connected
- Restart your router and try again
- If your network name contains special characters, try connecting to a hotspot temporarily to confirm the frame is working
The frame is stuck on the setup screen
- Hold the power button for 10 seconds to restart the frame
- If it persists, perform a factory reset from Settings → Reset Device
Frameo App & Photo Sharing
How do I add someone to send photos to my frame?
On the frame, go to Settings → Add Friend. A unique code will appear. Share that code with the person you want to invite. They open the Frameo app, tap the “+” button, enter the code, and they’re connected.
Photos aren’t appearing on the frame
- Check that the frame is connected to Wi-Fi (look for the Wi-Fi icon on screen)
- Ask the sender to confirm their Frameo app shows the photo as “Sent” not “Pending”
- Restart the frame by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then power back on
- Check that the sender’s pairing code hasn’t been removed from your frame’s friend list
How do I remove someone from sending photos?
On the frame, go to Settings → Friends. Tap the person’s name and select Remove. They will no longer be able to send photos to your frame.
Can I delete photos from the frame?
Yes. Tap and hold any photo on the frame’s touchscreen to bring up options including Delete. You can also manage and delete photos in bulk from Settings.
Display & Slideshow
How do I change the slideshow speed?
Go to Settings → Slideshow on the frame. You can adjust the time each photo is displayed, set transition effects, and control the order photos appear.
The screen looks dim or dark
- Go to Settings → Display and increase the brightness
- Check if Sleep Mode is enabled — the frame may be set to turn off during certain hours
